Announcing Worry-Free™ Business Security Services v3.6
With the 3.6 product release on October 15th, 2011, the newest version of Worry-Free Business Security Services will be soon available to over 5,000 Trend Micro customers with over 1,060,000 endpoints protected.
The new features include advanced category based URL filtering with black and whitelisting, key usability enhancements for notifications, reporting and management, as well as new navigation options via search bar and quick tasks. The feedback of our beta customers has been extremely positive, especially as Worry-Free Business Security Services now ensures that their business reputation is protected wherever their employees are connected.
With this release Trend Micro offers advanced protection that goes beyond what on-premise solutions can offer, meaning small offices whether they are small businesses or branch offices now are not at a disadvantage by not owning a server. They gain the advantage of full control of securing their endpoints and their company reputation wherever their users connect.
All in all this makes for a truly worry-free update, because it allows customers to access truly exciting new features, delivered in a high quality release that increases scan performance 15% and minimises memory and CPU impact on the end customer machines by 28%.
New features include:
Improved Usability
Business owners and IT Teams can now better control information and notifications, by augmenting notification messages to include additional information. New search functionality provides quicker navigation to specific troubled clients and provides new quick task functionality that allows faster operations of the user interface.
Console and License Self-Merge Capability
License stacking and console merge capability that allows merging of multiple Worry-Free Business Security Services consoles into a single console. This includes a merge of all agents into the new dedicated console, while increasing the total license count to the count of the joint consoles. It also includes the ability to add new license keys to an existing console.
Improved Dashboard and Reporting
Configurable alert templates allow administrators to set which information should be presented in the system alerts they receive. The new interface allows greater flexibility in defining specific alert value limits and great flexibility to include specific information, like URL violations, into the dashboard alert system.
Improved Scalability
Worry-Free Business Security Services can now support up to 10,000 connected computers. Improvements in the management interface result in the ability for all administrators to search, sort and view protected machines in a more productive fashion.
Improved Performance
Increases scan performance by 15% and minimises memory and CPU impact on your end customer machines by 28%.
