Flaming Backup - Online Storage Platform
On Saturday the 19th April Flaming Backup’s main Tier 1 Internet provider will be performing a 5-year testing and upgrades of UPS and generators. The nature of these works will impact our network’s core routers and will affect all our internet facing backup services in varying degrees.
Consequently, between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 BST there will be disruptions to internet connections that will result in reduced connectivity and increased response times. It is expected that the outage will not exceed 6 hours within the specified time frame. Due to the nature of the works it will be hard to predict when and how each power and Internet service outage will occur. Therefore we have made the decision that, in order to protect the integrity of your data, all access to the Attix5 storage platform will be suspended between the hours of 08:00 and 16:00 BST on the 19th April.
There will also be a series of short outages, related to these works, between 23:55 on 26th April and 04:00 the following day. Systems will not be down during this period but connectivity will be restricted.
